How do they work?
Fillers are injected beneath the skin to add volume or smooth out lines.
Results are immediate and can last 6-18 months depending on the product and the area treated.
During your appointment:
Procedure Time: 15-45 minutes
Numbing options available
Minimal discomfort
Immediate return to most daily activities
Aftercare instructions:
Avoid touching or massaging the area for 6 hours
Skip strenuous workouts, alcohol, and heat for 24 hours
Use cold compresses to reduce swelling or bruising
Sleep with your head elevated the first night
No makeup for 12 hours unless advised
Possible side effects:
Mild and temporary:
- Redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising
- Small lumps or unevenness (usually settle on their own)
Rare but serious:
- Infection
- Allergic reaction
- Vascular occlusion (blocked blood vessel) - Requires immediate attention
Not suitable if you:
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have allergies to filler ingredients
Have active skin infections or inflammatory skin conditions
Have a history of severe allergic reactions
Follow-up & Maintenance:
We recommend a follow-up at 2 weeks to assess your results
Touch-ups may be needed
Maintenance every 6-12 months is common for lasting effects
